Message w/ Myrtle Beach SC 2010 Rally Registration

Terry and I finally made it back to Texas after attending rallies in Albany, OR and Sevierville, TN. The Country Coach Class Reunion in Albany was a great but small rally. About 155 coaches were in attendance and the smaller crowd gave us a chance to meet a lot of new friends. NW Area VP Gary Wallstrom did an outstanding job working with Sherry Fanning and the Country Coach staff.
After a visit to a proposed rally site in northern California we headed to Branson, MO to meet some other CC’ers on our way to the Sevierville, TN rally the first week of October. Over 100 coaches attended and we were treated to several nights of entertainment by Wayne Cleveland, Eastern VP and Jack Hoadley, Northeastern Senior VP. Members of several area clubs were also in attendance. These same two guys are planning another rally at Myrtle Beach, SC in October 2010. As for upcoming rallies in addition to Myrtle Beach, plan now to attend the CCI rally next May 19th-23rd, 2010 in Kerrville, TX. This rally will be full hookup and restricted to the first 100 registrations. There will be some Texas swing music and a 1940s Glenn Miller style band along with some great Texas grub. Registrations will be mailed soon. Jerry Keeton, South Central VP will be the Rally Master.
The next rally we have planned for all CCI members will be at the Napa Country Fairgrounds in Calistoga, CA. This is in the heart of Wine Country and we should be there about time for the annual grape crush. We are planning some great events for this rally. John Malabicky, Western VP, will be planning this rally. More details later.
In addition to the CCI rallies we have planned, I would encourage everyone to attend some of the area club rallies. Those folks really now how to have a good time.
