General Membership Meeting Minutes



October 1, 2009


1. Call to order at 9:35 AM

Some general announcements regarding the current rally were made.

2. Pledge to the flag - led by President Ted Wright.

3. President Wright gave some general information about what was happening with Country Coach. Attempts at new financing are currently being made. Chapter 7 bankruptcy is a possibility. President Wright stated unequivocally that the Country Coach brand will continue with someone.

4. President Wright introduced the board members present:

5. Minutes from the Reunion General Membership meeting were approved.

6. Treasurer\'s Report - given by President Wright - Total CCI Assets currently are $147,367.71. President Wright reminded us about CCI\'s website www.countrycoachclub.com. The web site contains all information about CCI. The club will be doing a newsletter. He reminded everyone that the club office is now located separately from Country Coach and will NOT be affected by its problems. The treasurer\'s report was approved.

7. We are currently the 5th largest FMCA motor coach club in the United States.

8. President Wright reported the results of the membership survey sent to all members earlier in the year. 30% of the surveys were returned which is considered a good response. Future rallies will be guided by the information obtained from the survey.


9. A report on Consumer Confidence on RV sales shows some improvement. This is seen as an indicator of U.S. economic health.

11. Question and answer session-
A. Where to get parts. - JDRV.com for parts information

B. Have Larger Rallies - problem is that many facilities are not large enough for more than 100 to maybe 150 coaches.

C. We are trying to space rallies across the country so more people can attend
