A summer welcome to all of our CCI members. As the days get longer and the temperature gets warmer, we all will be catching up with our CCI friends. I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself as you new president. I have been with CCI for 20 years, serving as the North East V.P. for 4 years. I am the owner of three companies in Massachusetts and Maine and have over 30 years of business experience. I hope to bring financial stability to our club. In the past few weeks, I have learned just how hard Ted Wright worked in these tough economic times to move our club forward. Thank you Ted for all your hard work and dedication. I am looking forward to working with Ted in the future. Just a side note, Ted is making great progress in his recovery.
I would also like to thank all the VP’s that helped with the Texas Rally and our hosts Jerry & Geneva Keeton and Joe & Beverly Smith. The rally was a great success and a fun time was had by all who attended. From the opening evening when two local cowboys that Jerry O’Connor met at Luckenbach just days before the rally and invited to come and play straight through to the 16-piece big band who entertained on the last evening, this event was filled with friendship, top notch entertainment and meals, and plenty of free time to explore the area. I am looking forward to reaching out to all our members to assist in bringing back our CCI families whose memberships have recently lapsed. I am asking for your help in this endeavor.
When you are on the road this summer and you bump into one of our past members or a future member, please ask them to join us. I would also love to hear your feedback and suggestions on what you feel would make CCI a better organization. Please contact myself or your local V.P with anything you believe would help move our club forward in the coming year.
Safe travels to all our CCI members. Don’t forget the sunscreen and bug spray!! Hope to see you all at the fall rally in Myrtle Beach, October 25th-29th, 2010.
