As we return from the CCI Fall Rally in Bethpage Virginia, we are reminded of the special friendships we have made over the years with each of the CCI members we meet. We had a wonderful time at Bethpage Camp-Resort with all of those who were able to attend. We want to give an extra special “Thank You” to our Rally Hosts Sr. Eastern VP Bill Brock and his wife Linda for all their hard work putting this successful rally together. They did a terrific job. The venue was perfect and so was the schedule and the food. I also want to recognize our Rally Treasurer, Linda Herring, who did a great job of keeping the accounting in order and her husband Bill who helped with the parking. Jim Nelson and Ken Veenstra also helped with parking. They all made a smooth job of it. The rally attendees were greeted with their smiling, friendly faces and were easily parked among the tall pine trees and lush green grass.

Our East Coast Rally Sheriff, Tom Connor, did a terrific job of “badgering the badgeless” in the name of Charity. With his innovative efforts along with the auction items and donations we were able to raise over $1350 for the Christmas Friends from among the 67 coach families in attendance. This group helps gather and distribute Christmas gifts for the local children and the needy that might not otherwise receive these much appreciated gifts. Thank you to all who contributed to this successful charity event.

At the VA rally the Club Members voted to update the CCI logo with a contest to see whose design will win custom embroidered logowear which will sport the newly designed logo and more prizes too. If you are a current CCI member you may enter your new logo idea by submitting your sketch or drawing (doesn’t need to be digitized or even detailed, just your general ideas will be considered) by emailing or faxing Tammy Toalson your ideas by December 1. More information about the contest can be found within this newsletter.

We are looking forward to seeing you at more rallies in 2012. There will be a pre-rally gathering for the FMCA Western Area Rally in Indio, CA in January led by our new Western VP, Christine Cross, followed by the Nor’easters Winter Rally at TGO in Titusville, February 3-10th and then don’t miss the Western Roundup Rally in Tucson at Lazydays RV (formerly Beaudry RV) March 1-5. Many more rallies are in the future so watch for the announcements as the details are finalized.

As you will learn in the Minutes from the General Membership Meeting held in Virginia, this active Club is positively moving forward. We have definitely turned a corner in putting some of the past’s issues behind us and we are headed in the right direction for a great future and many successful years ahead for all members. Be sure to invite other Country Coach Owners you meet along the way to join CCI. We want all CC owners to enjoy this club and its many benefits. I hope you are having a Peaceful and Healthy Fall Season. Call me any time. I love to hear from you. I hope you enjoy the pictures from the rally within these pages. Safe travels, Jack
